Siouxland Artists, Inc. is an organization that is dedicated to advancing the work of regional artists. Members work in a variety of mediums and materials, and include both professional and amateur artists. The judge for this year’s competition is Pauline Sensenig, an artist and retired college instructor. She had this to say about selecting the artwork and the awards: “Thank you to Siouxland Artists Inc. for the opportunity to jury this year’s exhibit. It was an honor and a pleasure to be able to see all the work submitted and to select the works that would become part of the exhibit. The variety and talent of this group of artists made decisions challenging, and I hope they are pleased with the selections. Awarding Best of Show and awards of Excellent, Superior, and Merit, were even more challenging, and I look forward to giving a presentation to discuss my selections.”
